  • DAYS 1-2

    Charlotte to Tel Aviv, Israel

    Our adventure starts with a flight from Charlotte to Tel Aviv, Israel, arriving the following afternoon. Our Templeton Tours representative will greet us and assist with luggage and airport procedures. Time permitting, we will stop for a brief visit in Jaffa, the historic port city where Jonah set sail and Peter received his vision. We then continue north to our hotel in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.

  • DAY 3

    Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Mt. Precipice, Tiberias

    After breakfast, we depart for the coastal ruins of Caesarea Maritima, Herod the Great’s impressive port city layered with Roman, Byzantine, and Crusader history. We’ll reflect on the conversion of Cornelius and Paul’s bold mission westward. Then, we journey to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah called down fire from heaven, and visit Mt. Precipice for sweeping views of the Jezreel Valley. We end the day back in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

  • DAY 4

    Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Jordan River

    We begin the morning with a peaceful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, pausing mid-journey for worship and reflection. At Nof Ginosar, we’ll see the ancient “Jesus Boat” before heading to Capernaum—Jesus’ ministry hub. Next, we visit the Mount of Beatitudes to read the Sermon on the Mount, then explore Magdala, hometown of Mary Magdalene. We close the day with a special baptismal service in the Jordan River before returning to our hotel.

  • DAY 5

    Beit She’an, Bethabara, Jericho, Bethlehem

    After checkout, we journey south through the Jordan Valley, beginning with the impressive ruins of Beit She’an, where the Philistines displayed King Saul’s body. Next is Bethabara, where John baptized and Israel crossed into the Promised Land. If conditions allow, we’ll explore ancient Jericho, view the Mount of Temptation, and visit Elisha’s Spring. Then it’s on to Bethlehem to visit Shepherd’s Field and a gift shop before arriving in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

  • DAY 6

    Temple Mount, Upper Room, Jewish Quarter

    If conditions allow, we begin atop the Temple Mount, reflecting on its biblical and prophetic significance. From the Mount of Olives, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of Jerusalem and recall key moments from Jesus’ ministry. At the Southern Steps, we’ll walk where pilgrims once ascended and Jesus taught. After lunch, we visit the Upper Room, the Temple Institute, and end the day exploring the Jewish Quarter before returning to our hotel for dinner.

  • DAY 7

    Gethsemane, Kidron Valley, Garden Tomb

    We begin our final day in Jerusalem with worship in the Garden of Gethsemane, then walk the Kidron Valley to Caiaphas’ house. In the Old City, we visit St. Anne’s Church, the Pools of Bethesda, and follow the Via Dolorosa from Ecce Homo. After lunch, we reflect at Calvary and the Garden Tomb with a special communion service, ending the day with a farewell dinner.

  • DAY 8

    Return to USA

    Today our memorable journey comes to an end. We will transfer to the airport in Tel Aviv and board the plane for our return flight home. In flight, we can fellowship with our friends and remember the many things we shared together.
